THE STORY ABOUT 3 OF TREES

Kisah 3 pohon
Memang benar kita semua punya mimpi-mimpi yang hancur dan Allah tetapberdiri di atas mimpi-mimpi kita yang hancur karena Dia memiliki mimpiyang lebih baik, lebih tinggi, lebih agung bagi kita...
Alkisah, ada tiga pohon di dalam hutan. Suatu hari, ketiganya salingmenceritakan mengenai harapan dan impian mereka..

Pohon pertama berkata: "Kelak aku ingin menjadi peti harta karun. Akuakan diisi emas, perak dan berbagai batu permata dan semua orang akanmengagumi keindahannya" .

Kemudian pohon kedua berkata: "Suatu hari kelak aku akan menjadi sebuahkapal yang besar. Aku akan mengangkut raja-raja dan berlayar ke ujungdunia. Aku akan menjadi kapal yang kuat dan setiap orang merasa amanberada dekat denganku".

Lalu giliran pohon ketiga yang menyampaikan impiannya: "Aku ingin tumbuhmenjadi pohon yang tertinggi di hutan di puncak bukit. Orang-orang akanmemandangku dan berpikir betapa aku begitu dekat untuk menggapai surgadan TUHAN. Aku akan menjadi pohon terbesar sepanjang masa danorang-orang akan mengingatku" .

Setelah beberapa tahun berdoa agar impian terkabul, sekelompok penebangpohon datang dan menebang ketiga pohon itu...
Pohon pertama dibawa ke tukang kayu. Ia sangat senang sebab ia tahubahwa ia akan dibuat menjadi peti harta karun.Tetapi...doanya tidak menjadi kenyataan karena tukang kayu membuatnya menjadi kotak tempat menaruh makanan ternak. Ia hanya diletakkan dikandang dan setiap hari diisi dengan jerami.

Pohon kedua dibawa ke galangan kapal. Ia berpikir bahwa doanya menjadi kenyataan. Tetapi... ia dipotong-potong dan dibuat menjadi sebuah perahu nelayan yang sangat kecil. Impiannya menjadi kapal besar untuk mengangkut raja-raja telah berakhir.

Pohon ketiga dipotong menjadi potongan-potongan kayu besar dan dibiarkan teronggok dalam gelap.
Tahun demi tahun berganti..., dan ketiga pohon itu telah melupakan impiannya masing-masing.

Kemudian suatu hari...Sepasang suami istri tiba di kandang. Sang istri melahirkan dan meletakkan bayinya di kotak tempat makanan ternak yang dibuat dari pohon pertama. Orang-orang datang dan menyembah bayi itu. Akhirnya pohon pertama sadar bahwa di dalamnya telah diletakkan harta terbesar sepanjang masa.

Bertahun-tahun kemudian...Sekelompok laki-laki naik ke atas perahu nelayan yang dibuat dari pohon kedua. Di tengah danau, badai besar datang dan pohon kedua berfikir bahwa ia tidak cukup kuat untuk melindungi orang-orang di dalamnya.

Tetapi salah seorang laki-laki itu berdiri dan berkata kepada badai: "Diam!!!" Tenanglah". Dan badai itupun berhenti.Ketika itu tahulah bahwa ia telah mengangkut Raja di atas segala raja.

Akhirnya...Seseorang datang dan mengambil pohon ketiga..Ia dipikul sepanjang jalan sementara orang-orang mengejek lelaki yang memikulnya.. Laki-laki itu kemudian dipakukan di kayu ini dan mati dipuncak bukit. Akhirnya pohon ketiga sadar bahwa ia demikian dekat dengan TUHAN, karena YESUSlah yang disalibkan padanya...

KETIKA KEADAAN TIDAK SEPERTI YANG ENGKAU INGINKAN, KETAHUILAH BAHWATUHAN MEMILIKI RENCANA UNTUKMU. JIKA ENGKAU PERCAYA PADA-NYA, IA AKAN MEMBERIMU BERKAT-BERKAT BESAR. KETIGA POHON MENDAPATKAN APA YANG MEREKA INGINKAN, TETAPI TIDAK DENGANCARA YANG SEPERTI MEREKA BAYANGKAN. BEGITU JUGA DENGAN KITA, KITA TIDAK SELALU TAHU APA RENCANA TUHAN BAGIKITA.KITA HANYA TAHU BAHWA JALAN-NYA BUKANLAH JALAN KITA, TETAPI JALAN-NYAADALAH YANG TERBAIK BAGI KITA, SELAMANYA...
